ADORABLE!

Parrots rock.

I wasn't expecting baby parrots to be so... pink. Even the beak is pink. And when they start to grow feathers they look like hell raiser parrots.

er:

Wow!

Wow! What a great series of photos! My daughter and I really enjoyed watching that parrot grow up.

I am making this my "Post of the Day" for my "Post Awards" blog.

http://postawards.blogspot.com/

simply amazing!

LK:

Dude, parrots aren't born. They hatch.

Love these pictures. Thanks for sharing them

Cute!

DISPEL:

pretty awesome pics

Adam Jack:

Wow, It starts off a right ugly creature and then grows into a maginificent animal. That is absolutley amazing.

Mandy:

Umm, that's not a parrot... it's a cockatoo

NANOO:

nice one

OMG:

beautiful transformation..
soo cute in the end

Cam:

I'm guessing it's a Little Corella, a parrot, but not a True Parrot.

Amanda:

Thank you Mandy, I was just about to point out that it's not a parrot. You would think that someone in possession of all those pics would know that...

Good pics though

heather:

it LOOKED like a sea animal

~OMG~GANON:

ROFL at pic 14
"RARGH IM GONNA EAT YOU!"

Kim:

Technically, that is a cockatoo, not a parrot. My parents used to raise them and we had one that looked just like that adorable little thing named Cockatoo Dundee.

amanda:

it looks like a seamonster in pic #15. that shiz is buggin me out hardcore

Ryan L.R.:

i think human babies are even more freaky than that.

Laurie:

Thank you for sharing these superb pics! This bird is truly magnificent! BEAUTIFUL!!!

That looks like a cockatoo...but if the pics r american spose alot of americans wouldnt know the loud annoying birds that wake me up every sunday morning lol!

Pat Myass:

Very cute. Did the mother raise it or was it hand reared. And what does a baby parrot eat?

me:

RosieRedHead(for 8 washes anyway...hehe):

EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEK
i want one...

wonderful photos of his progress, going to post this link on our Australian Bird Forum for other members to enjoy, hope you dont mind!!

stacey:

That bird looks like a moluccan cockatoo. they are incredibly amazing birds. im working with a breader to own one right now. ( i have two parrots right now...a sun and a green cheek)

a baby parrot eats a mushy mix of foods and vitamins from a needle-less syringe

melissa:

Ummmm....to those who are commenting that the bird is not a Parrot but a Cockatoo...Cockatoos are IN the Parrot family. As are Conures (I have a Sun), Parrotlets (a miniture Amazon Parrot and the World's smallest truest Parrot...I have one of those, too.)and many others.

Critics are left largely unimpressed at the opening night of the Lord of the Rings musical on the London stage...

Joey:

He's actually a Goffin's Cockatoo. Cute set of pics!

jeanette:

um... isnt that a cockatoo?
cuz i own one...
and it looks
REALLY
simmilar...
=/
