I think a better question is Why do builders feel the need to tan so excessivly? Some of those people have skin like leather already from the "protien", then they make it so much worse witht he tanning. It's not going to be pretty when some of that muscle mass goes away and they have hanging croc skin. Just like Arnold

Some of these people are just ugly, and it has nothing to do with the bodybuilding. Some of them, though, might be quite attractive if they didn't have more muscles than my entire dorm hall put together. There is such thing as TOO MUCH MUSCLE!!! The first girl has a really nice body, though. She's just not physically attractive.

its the fake tanning stuff they use, most forget to put it all over, like their ears! (look at them!)
also, they are just plain gross...there is no need for that kind of bulk muscles...ugleee!!!

body builders do excess tanning because it shows of their muscles more in the bright lights on the stage. a normal tan would show off the muscles, but it the bright lights on stage the skin gets white washed and they look stupidly pale, so they need to be stupidly tanned. sorry my bfs a body builder so i know all this crap. however im very thankful hes not as extreem as these people cuz like ugh

i beielve they need to tan so there body will be more defined so you can see the definition in the body. Also they are really jacked up on roids,creatine,protien and anything else they can get there hands on. They are like signing up for compilcations later in life.

Another issue is that, in order to show off each muscle, they reduce their body fat to ridiculously low levels. That, as a side effect, makes their faces look emaciated.
But, I've gotta admit, some of them look like they started off butt-ugly.
